About the Festival

The Gilded Pages Literary Festival is the first of its kind hosted by the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort, where the Rockefeller, Goodyear, Morgan, and Astor families spent their winters.

Joseph Pulitzer himself was a charter member of the Jekyll Island Club in 1886, and the island has remained home to numerous award-winning writers and authors.

The Gilded Pages of Jekyll Island Literary Festival will host authors, vendors, and podcasters throughout its hallowed halls for a weekend of book signings, podcasts, panels, author talks, workshops, networking events, and the fantastic Once Upon a Gilded Age Book Ball, hosted by The Pink Flamingo Society of Jekyll Island to benefit children’s literacy programs.
